Hello! Here I've compiled a list of all the ranking sailors on-board the SS Cameronie and other characters we come across. If I've got anything wrong, tell me and I'll fix it ASAP
NB Some of the position names have been changed in accordance with real pirate ships etc., meaning that some crew members may have been promoted to higher posts. Modified roles have been marked with an asterisk and explained at the end of the list.

Right, first thing: Quarter Master is pretty much the same as a vice-captain, except I'm pretty sure it's slightly higher up. It's almost equal to the Captain, really, in that the rest of the crew must take orders from him. I really only changed the name to make it sound better, as with Sailing Master (originally Navigator). Same role, cooler name.
Boatswain is a new one. She is in charge of ship maintenance and supplies, and must check the state of the ship regularly. She must also supervise all on-deck tasks such as dropping the anchor and putting up sails. The Carpenter works under the Boatswain's direction in ship maintenance and will repair any damage done to the ship. (She also must double-up as a surgeon if any amputations need to happen, which I hope not.)
I thought about not letting Emma be in charge of weaponry, as it could be potentially dangerous for the rest of the crew. But after considering it, I promoted her from First Mate to Master Gunner, who is responsible for all of the ship's cannons and gunpowder, as well as keeping the other weapons such as swords in a good state. Although we are a mostly peaceful ship, we have to be prepared. This also means that Youngsie has been promoted to First Mate.
